Birthday Card

I found this stamp set at a yard sale and loved the sayings. It is "Words by Wanda." The image on the front is water colored using Close to My Heart water color pencils and aqua painters from Stampin Up. Sometimes coloring images is almost therapeutic. Card measures 4"x5 1/2".

Cupcake Toppers

Always trying to find new ideas for using the scallop punches. Tonight I made cupcake toppers using only punches. These would be cute for lots of different themes.

Party Favor Treats

Using the large Stampin Up tag punch, I created these Easter favors that hold a Hershey's Nugget. The second picture shows a side view with the nugget. I intend to start making tutorials on my projects to share with you. Trying to type the directions just are not the same as showing someone. I will have to do some research on the best way to film while looking down at a desk.

Easter Basket

Happy "supermoon" night. Take a look outside if you want to see the largest full moon in almost 20 years. The “supermoon” tonight is 14 percent bigger than usual, and it won’t be this close to the Earth again until 2029.

On a creative note...made this basket today for a church tea tommorow. Thought it might make a nice little door prize filled with some easter candy. Want to send out a "hello & thanks" to Scrappy Days in Russell, KS for their hospitality today! Had a fun time looking at all their great items in the store. Can't wait to get back!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! This card uses the Stampin Up heart punch to make the clover. I ran each heart through the Cuttlebug. Stem of the clover is the twig from the bird punch. (4 x 5.5)

Post It Note Holder

These Post-It Notes holders start with a 8 1/2"x 3 3/8" piece of cardstock. Fold in half and decorate. I used Anna Griffin double sided cardstock from the Carolina Collection. To keep the note pad attached, I used some additional adhesive on the last piece of paper. I also might mention that I split the pad three ways. I used yellow in this holder, but will be looking for other colors as these are fun to make. The stamp used is from Stampin Up, Punch Bunch stamp set.

Ready...Set...Blog Candy

I'll put a little bit of blog candy out. There isn't much content here yet, but that doesn't mean I can't try to give something away. The first person to follow my blog will receive this card and envelope with their choice of greeting. Good Luck!

Paper Challenge

Here is my first post. This was an ugly paper challenge to myself (and to a few of my Monday card making friends). I didn't particularly like this paper or lets just say it wouldn't normally be the first I would reach for from the selection. The yellows and browns with an odd combination of teal made for an interesting mix. I have two versions using this paper from Me & My Big Ideas (Micheal's). My enabling for today...this paper was $4.99 for 140 sheets. That is 75% off so I just couldn't leave without buying four packages! Gifts for all! So run right out and get some. There are many sheets that are completely adorable. As I use them I will post the cards here. The first card below is 4"x5.5" and the second measures 4 7/8"x 4 7/8".
