This card is for a special boy who is battling cancer. I tired (and failed) to copy and paste the link from my FB page here for those interested in his story... he wants cards for his birthday. I hope this looks like Legos. That is what it is supposed to be. I used 1 3/8" square punch and 1/2" circle punch to create this look. I used dimensionals to pop up the circles.

Today I am thankful for the freedoms I have and the opportunities available in this country. Even though I often wonder about some of the choices made in our country, I still am thankful to be here where I can live in freedom. Freedom provided by the countless people who have fought, strived and died to make our country what it is. So today I tip my proverbial hat to America and to its good people...God Bless America.
My latest focus has been on starburst cards. I found a couple of nice little tutorials (linked below) for making these type of cards that have a lot of sophisticated appeal, but in reality are SO easy to create.
