This card was created for my cousin and his wife who are expecting their first baby in September. She had a beautiful baby shower yesterday and received many pink and ruffled covered items...too fun! I sat and made this card the morning of her shower and knew I had to get to the store to buy a gift bag (I know...I'm lazy on the wrapping bit). I paid for being lazy...almost $5 for the gift bag. So I took a peek at the card section prices and all I can say is that I KNOW my card didn't cost the price of those. The plan from now on is to buy gifts (or gift cards) that can go in the card or in a bag-a-lope (a bag made from an envelope)...then I could coordinated the bag too!
I thought the pinks and grays turned out looking nice together. As a small detail on the scalloped piece, I used my paper piercer to punch the holes.

| The overall card is 5"x5". Working with a square card is a nice change. |
